Other Service Opportunities:
Adopt-a-Camp
Local churches and businesses adopt specific camps during the summer. They collect non-perishable supplies (see the ‘Wish List’) or try to commit a $300 donation so a camp can purchase perishable supplies (i.e. ingredients for cooking class or ice cream as a special treat for kids).
Host an Intern Outing
Do you have a pool? A house at the shore? Air conditioning? Then you could host a group of our interns for a Friday night out or a weekend day of relaxation.
Serve as an Intern
If you are a college-age student and want to learn about and experience urban youth ministry through hands-on experience, come and join us for a summer (or a year) through our intern program. For more information, check out our intern page.
Sponsor a Special Event
Local churches and businesses sponsor specific events throughout the year. They may help underwrite the cost of the event or provide in-kind services and/or provide volunteers to staff the event. Special events may include sports leagues, kick-ball tournaments, field trips, and holiday parties.
Special Skills
Do you have a special skill that you could share with our children? Related to art, music, computers, writing, libraries, or physical education? Consider sharing your talent by teaching a class to a group of our youth.
