5 situations that have caused me to grow:

1. Teaching Grade 3 at Camden Forward School. This was out of my comfort zone, doing something that I wasn't qualified to do but putting myself in a classroom full of grade three children taught me patience, love and so many teaching techniques!

2. Waiting in the UK for my visa. This was an unexpected couple of weeks at home where I was forced to stop what I was doing and wait on God for his provision. I learnt to trust and pray in a situation that was outside of my control.

3. Being British in America. I had to learn to adjust to the culture here, but at the same time to be real and be myself. I have become more aware of the person I am and have come to accept myself as I am and not be afraid of failure!

4. Befriending the streetleaders and making time to hang out with them even when I felt a little intimidated or foreign!

5. Leading the grade one and two class at the Afterschool Program by myself when Craig was in England. I had to think of lessons and organise them by myself which made me go the extra mile! I wanted to have lessons that would be creative and fun for the kids to do.
